Anyone had any luck recently in the Elk?  Pressure is pretty high right now.

I went Friday, July 30th after work around 6:00 pm, and fished at Ferris Creek Bridge. There was a couple of guys gear fishing, one family of 4 and one other flyfisher (he was from H'sville and not heard of TVFF).
Stopped by Tim's Flies & Lies and picked up a new reel, TFO Prism 5/6, and line, Rio Nymph, for my new Echo Carbon rod that I just got from Riverside Fly Shop at the Sipsey before heading to the water.
This was the scence when I arrived...

Only caught 2 but had a good time chatting with the guy from Huntsville and let a 10yr old use my new rig to catch his 1st fly trout (they had just stocked Wednesday and they were still packed up in the shallow holes and all he had to do was drag the nypmh through the wad and he would get a hit).

The obligatory fish and rod shot
