We may have too many categories.  Please give us your feedback on whether you think we need fewer categories.

I believe you should leave it as is for now...then in one years time look and see which ones have the least activity (if any activity at all). Then remove the ones with no or little activity.

I agree with Newbee, leave as until traffic picks up some, maybe in 6 months.
