Met up with one of the guys from the FFA site & TU chapter for nice day on the water. After sitting on the porch of the flyshop for an hour watching it rain we decided to head in and take a chance. We were lucky, didn't get rained on once and even got a couple of burst of sunshine.
I used the "free" bead headed nymph that I recieved at the meeting Thursday night until it started to come ungethered. The fish were hitting it like mad, 1st cast.. bam

2 more netted shortly along with several short hits, my reflexs are a little rusty after the surgery (that's my story and sticking to it). All in all I netted 6 in 2 1/2 hours, with a couple of rest breaks, before heading out for lunch. Jere ended up with 16 and Barry, another TU member who showed up late, netted 10.
The water was up a good bit, which we think made the fishing a little better.

This photo was linked from webshot the above photo is from photobucket. They both show up on the forum the same size but double click the webshot picture (lower pic)  Shocked you get a larger picture to view detail.
This is the only forum that I'm on that the photobucket pic's are small, no biggy.
