My 1st post Smiley. May I suggest a Intro Topic? A place new members can do their 1st post and give some basic info about themselves.
Hello, my "Given" name is Earl and I live in Hartselle, Al. I work in Maintenance at the Toyota plant in north Huntsville and have been fly fishing a little over a year now. I too am a rod addict (from another TVFF topic), I think I'm up to 5 or 6 rigs now.
I have given up the gear almost totally now, even doing some kayak bass fishing from my Nucanoe with the flyrod. I am also a member of www.AlabamaRiverFishing.net (great guys and fishing info), http://flyfishalabama.freeforums.org/index.php (small group of fly fishermen) and Trout Unlimited Sipsey Chapter #639.
I am looking forward to making it to the meetings as soon as thinks slow down around home. This month alone my daughter graduated nursing school and we just got my son moved in to MSU in Starkville.

Welcome to the web site.  Sorry it took so long to respond.  We hope that you get a chance to drop by a club meeting one Thursday on the way home from work.  I too enjoy my Kayak and reading the Alabama River fishing site.  If you have just started fly fishing and have five fly rods you will have a very nice collection in a few years.  Even if you cannot make a meeting, contact us for any info that you may need.
